Who We Are

This website is operated by Dongguan Tian’an Silicone Technology Co., Ltd. (“TN Silicone”, “we”, “us”), a manufacturer of silicone rubber, liquid silicone, silicone oil and related compounds with its registered office at Dong Ao Industrial Area, Tian Rao Bu Village, HengLi Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you contact us through this website, by email or on WhatsApp, the company above is the entity responsible for how that information is handled.

What Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to answer an enquiry and to run a commercial relationship. In practice that means:

• Information you give us. Your name, business email, company name, country, phone or WhatsApp number, product line of interest, target hardness, moulding method, the text of your message and any drawing or specification file you attach.
• Information created by your enquiry. The date and time of submission, the page you submitted from, and our internal notes and quotation history.
• Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited, collected in server logs for security and aggregate statistics.
• Commercial records. If you become a customer: order details, shipping addresses, invoices and the compliance documents required for export.

We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, special categories of personal data (health, biometric, political or religious information). Please do not include such information in an enquiry.

How We Use Your Information

• To evaluate your requirement, recommend a grade, prepare a quotation and send samples.
• To answer technical questions and provide data sheets, certificates and compliance documents.
• To fulfil orders, arrange shipment and issue the commercial documents required by customs.
• To keep you informed about a product you asked about, or about a material change affecting an existing order.
• To send occasional technical or product updates, only where you have opted in, and always with a working unsubscribe link.
• To protect the website against spam, abuse and fraud, and to meet our legal, tax and export-control obligations.

We do not use your enquiry to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract – to prepare a quotation, supply samples and perform an order you have placed.
• Legitimate interests – to respond to a business enquiry, to keep records of our commercial correspondence, to secure the website and to prevent fraud. We balance these interests against your rights and only rely on them where that balance favours processing.
• Consent – for marketing emails and for any non-essential cookie. You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
• Legal obligation – to retain invoices, customs and product-compliance records for the periods required by law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website uses a minimal set of cookies. At present they are limited to what is technically necessary:

• Session and security cookies – set by the content management system to keep forms working and to protect against cross-site request forgery.
• Preference cookies – to remember a choice you made, such as a language selection.

We do not currently run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this section before doing so.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver what you asked for:

• Service providers – website hosting, email delivery and IT support, acting on our instructions under written data-processing terms.
• Logistics and customs agents – the consignee name, address and phone number needed to ship an order.
• Professional advisers – auditors, accountants and lawyers, where necessary and bound by confidentiality.
• Authorities – where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

International Data Transfers

Our company and manufacturing operations are based in China, so information you send us is processed in China. Where you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, that transfer takes place under appropriate safeguards:

• the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, supplemented by the technical and organisational measures described in this policy; and
• where required by applicable law, a separate transfer assessment and, for any sensitive transfer, your explicit consent.

You may request a copy of the safeguards we rely on by writing to the address in the final section.

How Long We Keep Information

• Enquiries that do not become orders – up to 24 months from the last exchange, so that we can pick up a project that was paused. After that they are deleted.
• Quotations and sample records – up to 3 years, to answer follow-up questions about a grade we recommended.
• Customer, invoice and shipping records – for the period required by Chinese accounting and tax law (currently 10 years), and for any longer period required for product-liability or export-control purposes.
• Marketing subscriptions – until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
• Server logs – typically 90 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and give you a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
• restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing, which you can always stop;
• provide your data in a portable, machine-readable format; and
• withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.

If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and disclose, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, write to tnsilicone@tn2008.com with “Data request” in the subject line. We reply within 30 days and may ask for information to verify your identity, so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person.

You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue with you first.

Data Security

We protect the information we hold with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the website, access to enquiry data limited to the sales and technical staff who need it, password-protected accounts, and periodic review of who retains access.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the competent authority and the affected individuals without undue delay, as required by applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

This is a business-to-business website. Our products and content are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We review this policy when our tools, suppliers or legal obligations change. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
